Over the past two years, I've pushed myself and my former team to improve our reporting through clear storytelling and compelling visuals. More on storytelling in a future post, but for now, let's focus on data visualization. Creating new visuals from a blank slide can be nearly impossible. I'm guessing that is why PPT SmartArt and bar graphs have proliferated in the industry. Because wall need some inspiration from time to time, I'm always searching the web for good visualization resources. This blog will serve as a place to collect those sources, and I'll probably start a Pinterest board if there's enough interest.
One that I recently found - dadavis - calls itself the YouTube of data visualization. You can also read about it here. I'll certainly be adding it to my daily feed.
